Oof, well, made it to GT-6 for the Arknights event with some help from guides, but now my hurdle is that I'm under-leveled (need Elite 40s when mine are only Elite 25-30).

Got plenty of battle records, but lack the basic currency that's also needed to level up operators. Time to grind some more.

Also, I have *really* been sleeping on AOE characters. The key to beating the maps that kicked my ass before was not taking along Lava, Catapult, hell even friggin' 12F got sent in and tussled for a bit with fair results.

Ugh, a subscription service is coming to Fire Emblem Heroes and it looks to include some P2W elements (significant stat boosts to characters in all content) *on top* of locking away certain content behind a paywall (like improved art and new features). And it's only going to get worse from here when it inevitably makes them a shit-ton of money.

I recall a time when FEH was my favorite mobile game, now I have to contemplate quitting before the owl shit really hits the fan.

My problem is that I know that I should be using a well-balanced team, but I use my favorites so it tends to make things lopsided lol.

My squad is a bit lopsided too, specifically that I'm lacking Arts damage (only have one single target Caster and one Support). Suffice to say, I hate every shielded fucker that spawns.

I would hope the lower ones remain useful, as some higher ones can have high DP costs, making it not always practical to bring a whole squad of innate *5-6 (assuming one even has enough yet to fill a whole squad).

And while increasing an operator's potential can reduce DP cost, it isn't going to be easy getting dupes of the *5-6 for that purpose, or that operators who start at *5-6 won't get as many potential boosts overall (so less DP reduction bonuses compared to someone that started at *2-3).

Speaking of rarities, apparently you can only assign *5 or lower as your support unit for others to borrow, which seems like another reason to not worry much about *6s if neither you *or* your friends can spam them whenever.

It also makes me wonder if some operators cap at *5, meaning you always have ones that can be support units while others eventually lose the option.

Same here, would give me more of a reason to use different characters of the same class to create different auto-deploys, instead of sticking to just the ones I feed battle records too until I end up with "1st & Only Squad" syndrome.

Yeah, still getting used to some of the mechanics, I keep underestimating who can block how much and for how long and I feel like I'm not getting much out of AOE Casters. Their high deployment costs doesn't help when a lot of these maps require getting units out as soon as possible for as cheap as possible, or that the DP seems better spent on getting Medics out to keep Guards/Vanguards/Protectors healthy.

Also used that voucher... snow leopard is best kind of catgirl waifu, also helps that Supporters are one of the classes I have the least amount of (outdone only by Specialists).

If you're expecting a game that plays like a combination of SMT or FE, then you won't find it. But if you're looking for a new experience that takes elements from both of those franchises but works them into its own unique identity, then TMS is worth trying out.

The TMS characters being added to Fire Emblem Heroes was partly to drum up hype for this re-release.

I haven't actually played a Persona game before (only "traditional" SMT), but I've heard nothing but good things about that branch of ths franchise, and in general I'm not adverse to RPG series that go outside their previous comfort zone. (I loved Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter for example.)

That said I'm already torn between two of the TMS additions in FEH. One supposedly has Tharja as their Persona, and the other one has a fucking rocket-powered horse. (Oh, uh, and I guess the actual characters they're attached to are nice as well.)

Fire Emblem Heroes is having a crossover banner with that Persona/Fire Emblem game that came out on the Wii U. Tokyo Mirage Sessions I think its called.

Can honestly say I did not know a Fire Emblem/Shin Megami Tensei crossover game existed.

Though now I'm wondering if SMT: Liberation will do some sort of collab to cash in on it too. I mean, they already did ones with Bayonetta and Devil May Cry, so why not Fire Emblem too?

Admittedly, FE doesn't really have "demons" running around, but there's plenty of "dragons" and "beasts" and those are absolutely demon types in SMT. I would not say no to getting Tiki and Lethe in another game.

And oddly enough this game has an idle portion too, that's like those castle builder games. Actually I'm not sure if I'm using that genre correctly.

Reminds me of Fallout Shelter, which I'm okay with. Hope willing there's no "base defense" stuff though, I don't want to deal what this game's equivalent of radscorpions and deathclaws (even if they're totally moe).

And if they *do* add that kind of mechanic, it better damn well come paired with the ability for me to breed with operators to keep our morale up between attacks.

I admit that I don't care to reroll and just go with whatever my first/only account gets, but I could see myself doing it if it's an actual feature of the game. In this case it would be nice having Crocodile, Robin, or Carrot to start with.

The furry chart is a fucking idiotic meme shit people made up to not be compared with the furry fandom when they talk about humans with furry qualities and don't want to be associated with the degeneracy of other people that want to fuck animals.

To be fair, it's not always about trying to disassociate with the furry fandom, some folks are just legit turned off by muzzles and furry/scaly bodies and only like ears and tails, which I figure is because those can be seen as "accessories" while the former are bodily parts. It's the same reason some folks aren't into monster girls despite how human they normally are because "too much" of them may be animal otherwise (like, literally half their body).

And this isn't bias talking, I'm a furry myself and could easily find everything on that chart fuckable if drawn well enough, I just get why other people have different levels of tolerance when it comes to beastly features.
